Detailing is using specialty equipment to restore a cars paint finish and stops short of doing actual body work, most of the time. A detail will include a wash, compounding, polishing and finishing up with a wax, sealant or paint coating.

Answer: Typically paint swirls come from 1. washing or improper washing and drying. when washing you MUST use proper soap as a lubricant and proper wash mitts. use gentle motions to agitate the debris and loosen it from the paint DON’T BE AGGRESSIVE gentle is the goal here finally improper drying or towels that are too aggressive use only microfiber towels or Chamois to dry the paint.
